AASCP 2026
International Workshop on Advanced AI Systems for Clinical Practice: Integrating Genomic Analysis, Diagnostic Imaging, and Connected Healthcare
-
Date: July, 8, 2026
Venue: ICAIHE 2026, Waseda University, Tokyo
-
AASCP 2026 invites original research contributions at the intersection of artificial intelligence and clinical practice. As AI systems move from research prototypes into real hospital environments, the field faces a common set of challenges: ensuring that model outputs are trustworthy and evidence-grounded, that high-performing models can be deployed on resource-constrained devices, and that heterogeneous clinical hardware can be connected into coherent, actionable data pipelines. This workshop addresses those challenges across three complementary fronts; genomic analysis and precision medicine, diagnostic imaging and model efficiency, and connected healthcare infrastructure. We welcome submissions reporting original research, system demonstrations, and position papers that advance the design, deployment, or evaluation of AI systems in clinical settings. Work-in-progress and applied industry contributions with clear research insight are also encouraged.

This workshop series consists of three hands-on sessions spanning the full stack of modern clinical AI; from IoT connectivity and genomic analysis to lightweight model deployment. We have the following sessions planned for AASCP 2026:
- Hotaru: Building a lightweight clinical AI system with the Hotaru framework.
- G-nome: Performing genomic analysis with G-nome.ai.
- PulmoSight: Developing a melanoma classification model using the ISIC 2024 dataset.
